Martedì 15 settembre alle 19:00 si connetterà online con la Dante di Anversa la pluripremiata regista polacca Gabi Bania, che ci parlerà del suo lavoro di regista di animazione in stop motion.
Nelle sue opere, Gabi Bania fonde atmosfere
gotiche e Romanticismo polacco con humour nero e tematiche socialmente
rilevanti. Ha vinto il premio britannico della Royal Television Society nel
2025 con il cortometraggio “Nibbling of the Night” (“Nocne Podgryzanie”), una
divertente storia di vampiri ed emancipazione femminile.
La presentazione si terrà in via eccezionale in inglese per non perdere l’opportunità di conoscere una regista così talentuosa e originale. Vi aspettiamo a quest’evento unico!
Tuesday, September 15th at 19:00, the
multi-awarded Polish director Gabi Bana will connect with La Dante di Anversa
to talk about her work as a stop-motion animation movies director.
In her works, Gabi Bana blends gothic
atmospheres and Polish Romanticism with black humour and socially relevant
themes. She won the British Royal Television Society Award in 2025 with the
short film “Nibbling of the night” (“Nocne Podgryzanie”), a funny story of
vampires and female emancipation.
The presentation will be exceptionally held in English for not missing the opportunity to get to know such a talented and original director. We’re waiting for you at this unique event!
